LEIGH POWELL

Hello, I am Leigh Powell and I joined Your Time Matters as  a Business Strategist and Mentor in 2016.

Having talked to a lot of small business owners and people in the corporate environment, I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say, “Tell me what to do.” Most of them know what they want to achieve and they need help exploring the implications and thinking through the details. That’s why I call myself a mentor rather than a coach.

My role is to help you lean into what you know you should do, take responsibility for it, and turn it into a profitable strategy. How do I do this? Well, asking questions is the first step: discovering where you are and where you want to be, learning about your networks, resources, budget, cashflow, constraints, and more…

From my perspective (after thousands of conversations with professionals, small business owners and corporate executives) it’s my privilege to work with people as they share their dreams, their drivers and their demons to find that light bulb moment where they suddenly realise they have the solution.

KERRYN POWELL, THE NETWORK CATALYST and FOUNDER OF YTM

Kerryn started her own business, Your Time Matters in 2009. Like many others, she was seeking flexibility as a mother , wife and daughter with aging parents and wanted to use her diverse skills to drive opportunities , seek financial independence and experience growth and fulfillment.

Since 2013 , Kerryn has been leveraging her experience in education, event management, and her creative approach and big heart to facilitate and design event formats for men and women in business to access education, support and connection within the YTM  business community.

Through her varied career portfolio, she has built a diverse network and understands the ups and downs of running a small business.

Kerryn facilitates all our YTM events, designs the formats and tools we use and also provides mentoring 1:1 for people keen to boost their confidence and identify hidden lead opportunities that often are right under your nose.

She believes you are only a relationship away from:

  • identifying valuable connections to help you grow your impact and business

  • accessing the knowledge you need to make better decisions

  • achieving goals and outcomes you truly desire

  • building a network to support you personally and professionally
